6527 – Electronic Actuator
Robust, multi-engine electro-mechanical actuator for propulsion control.
The 6527 actuator is Kobelt’s top selling actuator, allowing for actuation of marine clutches, throttles, trolling valves, controllable pitch propeller mechanisms and other marine & industrial applications.
6528 – General Position Electronic Actuator
The 6528 is one of Kobelt’s most robust actuators, designed to handle heavy duty positioning functions. The 6528 has additional functionality over all other Kobelt actuators with a override for manual positioning, an electro-mechanical clutch arrangement to allow for return to centre / neutral start position and a resilient driven output shaft to allow for the motor to stop and wait for balance.
6531 – Electronic Actuator
The 6531 was designed to handle medium duty positioning functions. The 6531 has an internal electric disconnect clutch, and has an output shaft that allows for 90 degrees of rotation and a maximum torque of 150 in. lbs.
The 6531 comes with either a 12 or 24 volt DC motor and has a reduction gear of 200 to 1. The 6531 has a single lever, allowing for control of a single function.
6533 – Electric Clutch Drive Unit
The 6533 is a microprocessor unit that allows for the management of an electric clutch as part of a 6525 system. The 6533 is very similar to the 6525 microprocessor, and can be configured to single or twin engines.
The photo shown is of a 7173 amplifier, very similar to the casing for the 6533.
6555 – Illuminated Electronic Control Head
Multi-function illuminated commercial propulsion control head.
The 6555 is an illuminated control head, constructed from bronze and stainless steel but for interior use only. The 6555 typically comes mounted on a 4 switch base, allowing for similar functionality as the 6508.
The 6510 can be equipped with two potentiometers per handle to act as a fail-safe, typically requires a control base and is not considered water tight. The photo shown is a 6555 installed onto a control base.
6560 – Electronic Actuator
The 6560 is Kobelt’s smallest actuator, designed to handle light duty positioning functions. The 6560 has an output shaft that allows for 90 degrees of rotation and a maximum torque of 120 in. lbs.
The 6560 has a single lever, allowing for control of a single function. The 6560 is also the only actuator from Kobelt that is water tight, allowing for use in any location.
6570 – Electronic Control Head
Compact electronic control head with directional indicators & multiple switches.
The 6570 is built from bronze and stainless steel with a wedge shape to provide an additional option when selecting control heads.
The 6570 is similar to the 6505, but also has a gear feedback indicator to display the gear control position. The 6570 can be used with both the Mighty Mariner system or the 6525 system.
6652 – ”KRONOS” Touch Screen Electronic Control Head
Elegant LED touchscreen electronic control head for extended control functionality.
The 6652, known as the Krronos control head, is a modern, sophisticated control that features a 3.5″ (8.9cm) LCD touch screen for input and selection of functions, including station select & lock, throttle override, engine sync, simulated RPM and direction indicators and alarms.
The 6652 is the centrepiece of the Mighty Mariner system, but is not available as part of the 6525 system, and is not water tight.
6654 – Rotating Right Angle Electronic Control Head
Multi-function electronic & steering control head for 360 drives.
The 6654 was a unique control head designed for 360 degree right-angle drives, to provide control over disconnect clutch and engine speed. The control head is illuminated, can be equipped with a dimmer and is available in multiple different finishes.
The 6654 can only be used as a replacement head for an existing 6654, or for integration into Z-Drives, which require a complete electronic system – the 6535 System – to be implemented as well, to allow the 6654 to work with the Z-Drive. The 6535 System is not available for any other heads or configurations.
6657: Integrated Steering & Propulsion Electronic Control Head
This 6657 Integrated Steering & Propulsion Electronic Control Head provides propulsion controls for clutch and throttle plus full follow up (FFU) steering rudder control, all comfortably operated by a single hand. The 6657 is ideally suited for a navigation station with limited space due to its compact footprint.
The 6657 provides clutch and throttle propulsion control. It is available in either Single or Twin Engine handle configurations. Push the lever forward 20° to engage the forward gear. Push the lever another 60° for your throttle control from engine idle to maximum RPM. From the upright position, pull the lever backwards for reverse operation. Available with single or dual 5Kohm potentiometers for propulsion signal output.
6700 Vitals Vessel System Monitoring & Smart Alarm Device
6700-0200 SmartBus Hub
The SmartBus Hub Module allows the user to connector up to five (5) additional SmartBus sensors. Kobelt offers three (3) options for SmartBus temperature sensors that can be used in any configuration, depending on your needs. Kobelt offers a barrel style temperature sensor (VT100) for immersion in air or liquid, a ring-terminal sensor (VT130) for direct connection to a metal surface, and a high-temperature sensor (VT110) for high-temperature applications.6700-0300 Analog Input Expansion Module
The Analog Input Expansion Module allows the user to connect up to six (6) additional analog sensors. The inputs are differential to reduce the probability of creating ground loops.6700-0310 Digital Input Expansion Module
The Digital Input Expansion Module allows the user to connector up to twelve (12) additional digital inputs. The inputs are separated into three banks to allow inputs with different references.6700-0320 SMS Communications Module
The SMS Communications Module connects to the Vitals System Monitoring Panel to provide support for broadcasting of system status over SMS messaging. Management and configuration of messages is handled directly through the Vitals System Monitoring Panel.*Note: Speaker and cabling sold separately (not included with Vitals).
7173-K / 7173-KAS: Electronic Steering Full Follow-Up Amplifier
The 7173-K Series amplifiers are designed to accept commands from electronic steering controls to coordinate the desired rudder position through feedback units. The 7173-K Series amplifiers can also activate solenoid valves to disperse fluid to a hydraulic steering system to maintain position.
The 7173 is water tight, available in 12 or 24 VCD power configurations, and can control single or dual speed steering systems, 2 independent steering systems controlled by the same controller (Catamarans) or 2 independent hydraulic systems, such as steering and bucket control.
The 7173 also comes in a transfer box configuration, to allow for relay signals between stations.
